Product Safety
Last updated October 30, 2026.
Read this page and the directions on your specific pack before use. Product-specific labels and a later safety notice apply; if instructions appear inconsistent, do not use the product until support@fermataritual.com has clarified them. Nothing on a product page or in a ritual description authorizes longer wear or overrides a warning.
1. Directions
Open a sachet only when ready to use; warming begins on contact with air. Unfold the heating area and position or fasten as shown on the pack. Do not bunch, overlap or apply extra pressure to the heating area. The body wraps are intended to follow the body's contour; this is different from folding or compressing the heating material. Each warming item is for one use only.
MIST 01: use on closed eyes for no more than 20 minutes per session, removing sooner if uncomfortable. CLOUD 02 and LOOP 03: check skin frequently and remove when the warmth subsides, or immediately if too hot, uncomfortable or irritating to the skin. Their labels prohibit leaving a wrap on the same skin area for more than 8 hours; this is an outer limit, not a recommendation to wear for 8 hours or a safe-exposure guarantee. CLOUD 02's up to 6 hours and LOOP 03's up to 3 hours describe heat duration, not mandatory or guaranteed wear time. Actual temperature and duration vary. Do not use a fresh product to disregard a time limit, irritation or a warning.
2. Warnings
- Burn risk. These products can cause burns, including low-temperature burns from prolonged contact. Check the skin frequently and stop immediately for excessive warmth, discomfort, pain, redness, itching, swelling, irritation, blisters or another unusual reaction.
- Wakefulness and pressure. Use only while awake and able to remove the product independently. Do not sleep in it, lie on it, press it against the eyes or add pressure over a wrap. LOOP 03 must not be fastened tightly and is not a support brace.
- Children and assistance. Keep products out of reach of children and pets. MIST 01 is not for infants or anyone unable to remove the mask without assistance; its labeling requires adult supervision for use by children. For every product, follow the specific pack's age and independence restrictions. Website purchasing is restricted to adults; that purchasing rule is not a substitute for product instructions.
- Heat sensation. Do not use where you cannot readily feel heat. Reduced heat sensitivity or circulation requires particular care and medical advice as set out below; follow those instructions before use.
- Skin condition. Do not use MIST 01 on broken, irritated, swollen or rash-prone skin around the eyes. Do not use CLOUD 02 or LOOP 03 on broken, bruised, swollen, irritated or heat-insensitive skin. Do not interpret any elapsed time after an injury as permission to apply heat to an unsuitable area.
- Other products. Do not combine MIST 01 with other eye masks, eye patches or sheet masks. Do not use CLOUD 02 or LOOP 03 with other heat therapies or topical medications. Do not add oils, creams or other substances to the heating product or modify it.
- Product condition. Do not use a torn, punctured, wet, damaged or leaking sachet or product. Do not microwave, cut, puncture, reheat or reuse. Remove CLOUD 02 and LOOP 03 before MRI or other medical imaging. Allow used products to cool before disposal.
- MIST 01 eye precautions. Remove contact lenses and use only on closed eyes. Do not use with an eye infection or inflammation. Consult a physician before use after recent eye surgery or for an eye or skin condition. Wait several minutes after applying eye drops; the mask may affect makeup. Temporary blurred vision may occur: do not drive or operate machinery until vision is clear. If it does not clear within one hour, consult an eye-care professional.
- CLOUD 02 and LOOP 03 fit. Place CLOUD 02's heating zone over the waist or abdomen and adjust to a comfortable fit. For LOOP 03, place the loop over the thumb, wrap toward the back of the hand and secure without tightening. If a wrap is too hot, remove it immediately; the pack also permits a thin clothing barrier. A clothing barrier is not permission to continue despite discomfort or injury.
- Contents and storage. For external use only. Contains iron and other heating ingredients; do not ingest. If swallowed, seek medical advice or contact a poison control center immediately. If contents contact eyes or skin, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical help as needed. Store unopened in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excess moisture and heat sources. Do not use beyond the printed expiration date.
3. Ask a doctor before use
For MIST 01, consult a physician first if you have diabetes, poor circulation, reduced heat sensitivity, recent eye surgery or a condition affecting the eyes or skin. For CLOUD 02 and LOOP 03, consult a doctor first if you have diabetes, poor circulation, heart disease or rheumatoid arthritis, are pregnant, or have sensitive skin or a skin condition. Medical advice does not authorize disregarding a pack prohibition.
4. Stop use and seek medical help
Stop immediately for a suspected burn or other adverse reaction and obtain medical help as appropriate; do not wait for a customer-service response before seeking care. For CLOUD 02 and LOOP 03, seek medical advice if pain worsens or lasts more than 7 days, or redness, swelling or rash persists. Notify support@fermataritual.com with available order and batch details, and preserve the product and packaging safely. Reporting is not an admission of fault. The Vessel is a carrying accessory, not a heater: carry unopened sachets only, never a warm, opened or used product; remove sachets before cleaning and follow its care instructions.
5. Shelf life and product concerns
The shelf life is 3 years, as stated on the box. Keep unused sachets sealed and follow the storage instructions. Check the printed expiration date on your packaging and use before that date.
For a defective, damaged or incorrect item, contact support@fermataritual.com with your order and available batch details. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for the applicable process and remedies. Obtain return instructions before sending any goods. Nothing on this page limits non-waivable statutory rights.
Before your first use
Read the directions and warnings on your pack, along with the full Product Safety guidance. This overview does not replace either. If the instructions seem inconsistent, do not use the product until support has clarified them.
Before opening:
- Check the printed expiry date and the product's condition. Do not use a sachet or product that is torn, punctured, wet, damaged or leaking.
- Choose a setting where you can stay awake and remove the product yourself. Never sleep in it.
- Do not use it where you cannot readily feel heat, or on skin the product's instructions prohibit.
- Review the product-specific restrictions and the circumstances that call for medical advice.
For MIST, consult a physician before use if you have diabetes, poor circulation, reduced heat sensitivity, recent eye surgery, or an eye or skin condition. For CLOUD and LOOP, consult a doctor first if you have diabetes, poor circulation, heart disease or rheumatoid arthritis, are pregnant, or have sensitive skin or a skin condition. Medical advice does not override a prohibition on the pack.
Follow each pack's age and independence restrictions. MIST 01 is not for infants or anyone unable to remove the mask without assistance. Adult supervision is required when MIST 01 is used on children. Keep all products out of reach of children and pets.
These products are for personal warmth and comfort. They are not for diagnosing, treating, curing or preventing any medical condition.

Additional limits for CLOUD and LOOP
Do not use on broken, bruised, swollen, irritated or heat-insensitive skin. Do not combine with other heat therapies or topical medications. Remove before an MRI or any other medical imaging.
Our Product Safety guidance states that CLOUD and LOOP labels prohibit leaving a wrap on the same area of skin for more than eight hours. That is an outer limit. It is not a recommended wearing time or a guarantee of safe exposure. The six-hour and three-hour figures describe heat duration only. Remove the wrap sooner whenever the instructions or your comfort call for it.
Know when to stop
For external use only. Do not ingest the contents. If swallowed, seek medical advice or contact a poison control center immediately.
These products can cause burns, including low-temperature burns from prolonged contact.
Remove the product immediately if you notice excessive heat, discomfort, pain, redness, itching, swelling, irritation, blistering or any other unusual reaction. Stop use and seek medical help as appropriate; do not wait for customer support.
For CLOUD and LOOP, seek medical advice if pain worsens or lasts more than seven days, or if redness, swelling or a rash persists.
Do not use a fresh product to get around a time limit, or to continue over an irritated area.
For all three products:
- Do not bunch, overlap or compress the heating area, lie on the product or add pressure.
- Do not microwave, cut, puncture, reheat or reuse.
- Do not add another heat source, or oils, creams or other substances.
Storage and product questions
